Many decades ago people prefer to use hats for protecting their eyes from sun but later the fashion revolution took place and sunglasses became not only a very necessary accessory for eyes protection in hot and sunny weather but also an important part of our glamour look. Nowadays sunglasses considered as a piece of our clothing, even there are people who own huge number of sunglasses which fit to their outfit, occasion and mood. Many people use sunglasses not only in summer but also in winter for protecting their eyes from snow that can be blinding.
Already in 1900's, sunglasses became widespread, and as this trend started from America many Hollywood stars were wearing them in public that's how this accessory became the most fashionable one, that every man and woman wanted to wear proudly. There are many styles of sunglasses, some look better than others: large frame sunglasses, cat eyes sunglasses, aviator glasses etc. While choosing sunglasses just keep in mind that they not only should fit to your dress up but also should have a good quality, and it is not right opinion that dark lenses protect eyes better.
Most people even don't think about the optical quality but it is very important to pay attention to it, in my experience very cheap sunglasses can case a visual distortion, it is very dangerous especially when you drive a car with them, as it shows not the right distance.
