Some days before we were talking at the workplace about the new tendencies in cosmetology and one of my colleagues said that recently she had been nearly getting crazy in the beauty salon because of the enormous queue of men waiting for their procedures. At that moment the only thing which came to my mind was the title of album by Cliff Richard produced in 1977 «Every Face Tells a Story», so if you want your face tells a beautiful story full of harmony you should take care of it.

The concepts of women's and men's cosmetology somehow the same, but at the same time there is something radically different. If the main purpose of a woman visiting a beauty salon is beauty, then for man it is health. Healthy and well-groomed appearance is the key attraction. Most often, the representatives of male gender seek the help of professionals with such kind of problems as acne, dermatitis etc. The most popular cosmetology procedures for men are face and head massage, manicure and pedicure, hair removal and hair transplantation.

Shorts wear from the tennis courts to a public life

Ones Tom Ford said that a man should never wear shorts. But, as men's fashion continues developing and changing in summer we can meet on the streets a huge number of men dress up in sports-inspired casual wear.

The modern short outline of the shorts came in the mid of 20 century, when the British military were looking for the uniform to dress up the soldiers which will allow them to stay cool in the hot countries. Later on it became used in sports, mainly in tennis. Already in 1990s the shapeless denim shorts were introduced to wide public; they generally had three-quarter length which let men to wear them in public matching them with sportive jackets and T-shirts. Ten years later the designers introduced new types of shorts, colorful printed ones which are very much worn during summer holidays.

There is no argument that shorts are a casual piece of menswear. Men prefer wearing them because of the comfort and the heat in summer. This year it is very trendy to wear denim shorts with three-quarter length in combination with casual suits in beige color with leather ornaments.
